Drea Isasi, one of my oldest and closest friends, is a long-time Los Angeles resident and tried-and-true Californian who recently relocated to the Pacific Northwest. (I'm so happy to have her close by!)
She's a professional project manager at Cinco Design, a creative design and branding agency in SE Portland, OR, as well as an amateur runner, chef, and outdoorsperson.
From 2001 to 2012, Drea maintained a wonderful personal blog where she wrote about life as a puzzled 20-something, and recapped many seasons of ABC's The Bachelor in a hilarious series called, "I Watch The Bachelor So You Don't Have To." Drea and I first met through our blogs, and I miss hers all the time.
In this episode, which is the kind of honest, rambling conversation that can only happen between two dear friends, we cover everything from dating, relationships, and sharing your life online to personal growth, friendship, respecting yourself, and so much more.
Anyone who loves hearing open, fun, and vulnerable conversations will enjoy this episode, and I can't wait to introduce you to Drea!

One thing though…I am a little disappointed about the idea of not wanting to talk on the phone. Part of the problem I have getting to know someone I’m interested in is that they simply want to text. It’s become so informal and impersonal. I am one of the rare breeds (I suppose) who wishes phone calls were not so taboo in the dating world.
