Chelsea Fagan is a writer, and the founder of The Financial Diet, the blog about money that you actually want to read.
In this episode, Chelsea and I talk openly about money. She shares her past money mistakes and how she healed from them, and we talk a lot about the role of radical honesty when it comes to breaking the money taboo. We discuss cliche money advice that we totally hate, how we manage money with our partners, what we tend to waste money on, how money actually can buy happiness, and the emotional struggle of shaming ourselves in regard to our habits and histories with spending, saving, debt, etc. Chelsea also talks about the financial circumstances that helped her to start her site and business, The Financial Diet, and argues that we need to take advantage of whatever breaks and blessings come our way instead of feeling guilty about them.
