Dallas Clayton is an author, illustrator, public speaker, mural painter, and adventure seeker.
When he is not busy writing books (for children of all ages), touring the world, painting on buildings, or climbing trees, he is generally trying find happiness and share it with others.
In this episode, Dallas shares some of the best stories I've heard since starting this podcast - stories from his own life that embody the power of encouraging others, the importance of play, and so much more. He talks about why he's hesitant to pick a "favorite" of anything, even if it's just something simple like a favorite fruit. He shares the story of writing his first book, his relationship with social media, what he's learned from his son, and a glimpse at what he's working on and creating right now. During what has felt like a particularly dark few months in the news cycles of the world, this conversation with Dallas made me smile and laugh, and helped to give me a more helpful and optimistic perspective about life. I hope the same is true for you!
